JOSH HEALING

Josh is a lighting designer and visual storyteller working across fashion, events, theater, dance, and art, using light to build worlds with precise dramaturgy, emotional intelligence, and joy. He has collaborated with directors, choreographers, dramaturgs, event producers, and other lighting designers to make art that gifts audiences and himself with lingering thoughts, images, fears, and delights. Most importantly, he makes art with other people.

A proud Chicagoan based in New York City, Josh received his B.F.A. in theater with an emphasis in lighting design from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, with minors in psychology and interactive media arts.

Josh also works as a lighting designer with FARO Studio, collaborating on designs for luxury events, fashion shows, exhibitions, and art installations.
